Many entrepreneurs in the community have told us they’d love the opportunity to learn how to pitch their business. Finding the perfect pitch is not easy and neither is putting yourself out there. There is a common thread, however, in telling stories and pitching your business.

You know, those stories that always get a laugh, the ones that move people, the ones that people remember for a long time after. By practicing your storytelling skills, you can build confidence in yourself. That’s why we are holding a workshop that helps you draw from the magic of your great stories. So, when it comes time for you to pitch your business, you can apply these techniques to tell the perfect story!

The theme for our Story Slam Workshop is Let’s Get Personal. Sharing our own personal stories will help us find our comfort zone and confidence when speaking to a group of people. Besides, who can tell our own stories better than we can?

• 7:30 ­– 8:00 pm: Group breakout session
• 8:00 – 8:30 pm: Tell your story
